Gotu Kola for Microcirculation and Tissue Performance
Study: Incandela et al., Angiology (2001)
Design: Randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial in patients with venous hypertensive microangiopathy.
Dose: Gotu Kola - 60 mg/day vs 120 mg/day for eight weeks.
Key Findings:
Both doses improved oxygen delivery and reduced tissue CO₂ retention.
120 mg/day delivered the greatest improvements in microcirculatory parameters and symptom reduction.
No side effects (AE) were observed during 8 weeks of 60 mg b.i.d. vs placebo.
GIOI Perspective: Healthy microcirculation isn’t just for disease states; it’s the foundation of endurance, recovery, and joint integrity. Improved capillary flow means more nutrients, faster waste clearance, and reduced muscular fatigue. Imagine your patient’s muscles “breathing better” deep into a workout or recovery session. That’s not placebo; that’s measurable physiology. We sourced our nutrients using Gotu Kola for a reason and that reason is because you deserve the best. GIOI
